Walter, with over 30 years of experience as a managing director and restructuring manager at German and US-based locations of internationally positioned corporate groups, has acquired extensive knowledge of the challenges faced by industrial SMEs. His multi-year assignments primarily focused on rebuilding and turning around existing companies.
In addition to his leadership role, Walter was an early advocate for developing advanced reporting, early detection, and planning tools based on the company’s existing IT landscape. These tools consistently had a surprisingly rapid impact on the profitability and liquidity of the locations.
Leveraging existing data sources — regardless of the systems used — and consolidating the data into meaningful reports or planning tools formed the foundation for organizational, technical, and business process changes. Simultaneously, the robust data foundation facilitated necessary customer negotiations.
Inmati benefits from Walter’s accumulated knowledge through his active involvement as a co-founder and managing director. Together, they work on developing standardized software products from recurring problem scenarios and solution approaches.
